Julie's house was originally built in the 80's and was a maze of small rooms and unworkable angles. Our brief included removing walls, extending the dining area, creating an entranceway and developing a resort infinity pool and sunken entertainment area.
A neutral palette from mocca through to natural linens was selected with layering of textures for this very active home of three small boys.
The family kitchen living area was highlighted by a basalt wall which complemented the concrete island benchtop. A copper veined tiled wall was background for the fireplace and television in the main living area. Sandtex created a natural pastered effect in the bathroom.
